Dr. Kiran Rohit has joined Sagar Group in August 2019.Prior to joining Sagar Group she has worked with Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal as a full time Research Scholar during 2013 to 2018; SIST & RDKF Bhopal as Assistant Professor of Chemistry from 2009 to 2013. She has awarded PhD in Chemistry from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal in the year September 2018.

Title of her thesis was “Development and Characterization of Cost Effective Composite From Polymer Waste”.

Polymers are prerequisite in everyday life. A polymer chemical professional aims at creating, studying and altering the attributes of polymer to design materials with desired chemical, biological and physical properties. Since, polymers are vital in our surroundings, these are inevitable. With the restrictions of synthetic and non-biodegradable polymers. Natural polymers are to be considered as an alternate. This notion being the spark triggered her interest as a topic for her PhD in Chemistry. Her research was focussed on conversion and utilization of non-retrograde plastic and cellulose wrappers used in food packaging, dairy wastes, and medicine strips etc into eco-friendly and economically beneficial alternative polymer based composites. She is GATE qualified in Chemistry. She is Master of Science from UIT RGPV University and Bachelor of Science from Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, Sagar M.P. She has 9 years of experience in teaching sector including 5 years of research experience. She has 5 Research Papers out of which 3 research papers published in SCOPUS & SCI journal with a good impact factor.
